Authorities say the driver of a car that crashed last spring in eastern Pennsylvania, killing three people, is expected to turn himself in to face vehicular homicide charges.
Investigators in Lehigh County said Saturday they have been in contact with the 28-year-old New Jersey man and they expect him to surrender early next week.
A speeding car crashed into a row of parked vehicles and burst into flames May 6 in Bethlehem Township, killing 29-year-old Ashlee Mosher, 26-year-old Amanda Martin and 28-year-old Joshua Edwards.
Police said the driver had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit and will face charges including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence. He was hospitalized and later transferred to a rehabilitation center, which he left before charges were filed.
