Some Philly Bars Will Stay Open Until 4 a.m. During DNC

The last call for alcohol will be later than the normal 2 a.m. for some Philly bars during the upcoming Democratic National Convention.

A spokesperson for Governor Tom Wolf confirmed with NBC10 that some bars in Philly can apply to stay open until 4 a.m.  during the Democratic National Convention, which takes place at the Wells Fargo Center from July 25 to July 28.

A spokesperson for the DNC Committee says bars will have the chance to apply for a permit that shows they are related to the convention. The permits will then be presented to the DNC Committee who will review the establishments. The Liquor Control Board will then make the final decision on approvals.
