Newark Police have charged a man with his seventh offense of driving under the influence of alcohol after a single-vehicle crash.
It happened about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on Capitol Trail. Police say 42-year-old Ronald Hazzard of Bear had damaged a wheel of the car he was driving after hitting the curb.
Hazzard was also charged with driving with a suspended license and careless driving. He is being held on $20,501 cash bail.
