Equus Capital Partners is scheduled to break ground next week on a roughly $40 million apartment complex within the Providence Corporate Center in Collegeville, Pa.
Equus of Philadelphia is doing the project in a joint venture with Mike Nolen, a local developer.
The complex, to be called Madison at Providence, will have 240 units off Route 29. It will include a clubhouse with a fitness area and demonstration kitchen, business center and conference rooms.

Other amenities will include “bark park” and with interior dog wash as well as victory gardens and a 2-acre park. The property, which was rezoned to accommodate a multifamily development, is near where Dow Chemical Co., Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline have operations and across from the Providence Town Center.
“It’s gong to offer new, modern products in an area that hasn’t had any in quite some time,” said Steve Spaeder of Equus Capital Partners. “We have high expectations for it.”
