Police arrested a manager at a Philadelphia Checkers restaurant accused of throwing hot cooking oil on three women who were at the drive-thru.
Latifah Linder, 28, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and other related offenses.
The incident occurred Saturday at 3:07 a.m. at the Checkers on 5800 Baltimore Ave. Linder was working at the drive-thru when she began arguing with three women who were inside a Chevy Impala, police said. Linder then allegedly threw hot cooking oil on the women.

A 20-year-old woman was burned on her left arm and left leg. She was taken to Mercy Hospital in stable condition.
Another 20-year-old woman and a 26-year-old women both suffered burns to their left arms, legs and head. They both refused medical attention.
“The franchisee is taking this incident very seriously, and the manager involved is no longer with the company,” a spokesperson for Checkers told NBC10. “That behavior was completely unacceptable, and does not represent the values of the hundreds of Checkers employees who serve our Philadelphia guests every day.”
