A suspected intoxicated driver flipped his car along a city street overnight, according to Philadelphia Police.
The driver lost control of his car along E Juniata Street near Salmon Street around in the Bridesburg section of the city around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The out-of-control car smashed into a parked car before flipping onto its roof, according to police on the scene.
The driver suffered bumps and bruises that required treatment at Aria Health – Torresdale. Police said the unidentified driver should recover.
Investigators suspected DUI.
A tow truck got the car upright and took it away from the scene early Tuesday.
