Turn down those jams!
That’s what a Jersey Shore town is telling beachgoers with a new rule in effect.
Seaside Heights banned loud music on the beach starting Friday.
"Audio speakers, 'boom boxes,' and similar audio amplification equipment will not be permitted on the beach," said a post on the Seaside Heights tourism Facebook page. "If you wish to listen to music with a personal device such as an iPhone or smartphone, please use your ear buds. We want all of our guests to enjoy themselves on the beach!"
NJ.com reports the experimental ban will last 60 days.
Someone kicking out the jams on the beach will be asked to put the boom box back in their car, reported NJ.com.
