Woman Pistol-Whipped, Robbed in Home Invasion

A woman is recovering after police say she was pistol-whipped during a home invasion in North Philadelphia.

Police say three men broke into a home on the 3300 block of North Front Street on Monday. One of the suspects allegedly struck a 48-year-old woman who lives at the home in the head. They then stole $200 in cash and several cell phones before fleeing the scene, according to police.

The woman suffered a gash on her head and was taken to Temple University Hospital. No arrests have been made. Police have not yet released descriptions of the suspects.
