Pleas Entered in Home Invasion Turned Deadly

Two people have pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the shooting of a man during a home invasion.

Twenty-four-year-old Thomas Christy and 32-year-old Aquino Myers entered the pleas this week in court in Wilmington.

Christy and Aquino were charged with two others in the death of 48-year-old James Williams Jr. in September 2012. Prosecutors say Christy and 28-year-old twins Mark and Matthew Miller tried to rob Williams, who was shot during a struggle.

Authorities say Myers drove the getaway car.

The News Journal of Wilmington reports that Matthew Miller's trial is set for next month, while Mark Miller's trial is scheduled for March.
