Investigators have determined the cause of death of a woman found in the Germantown section of the city.
The unidentified, 20-year-old black female, was found wrapped in sheets along a curb near a wooded area on the 5100 block of Rufe Street Monday night around 6:50 p.m. She was pronounced dead at 7:48 p.m.
The medical examiner performed an autopsy on the woman and determined the cause of death was strangulation. Police have now ruled her death a homicide and continue to investigate.
