Last Day For Winning Lottery Ticket Holder to Claim $1M

One lucky (or very unlucky) lottery player in New Jersey is about to lose out on a $1 million payday.

That person has until the end of Sunday to validate and claim the winning ticket in order to collect the million. The winning ticket was sold on July 13, 2013 at Country Farms Food Market in Newfield, Gloucester County. According to lottery rules, the ticket expires a year from when it was sold.

And that’s TODAY.

Here are the winning numbers from the Saturday, July 13, 2013 drawing: 2, 8, 22, 35 and 37. The red Powerball number was 6. The winning ticket would have all of the correct numbers except for the red Powerball number.

Anyone holding the winning ticket should immediately sign the back of it and contact Lottery Headquarters at 609-599-5801 or visit any lottery retailer to validate the ticket and file their claim.

Since the Lottery Office is closed on Sundays, the ticket holder should get a confirmation slip from the retailer to bring to Lottery Headquarters during business hours.
