SEPTA will decide next week on 5-year contract with AT&T to rename Patterson station.

Philadelphia sports fans take note: Pattison Station may be renamed AT&T Station.

SEPTA will vote next week on the $5 million deal to rename the stadium station after the telecommunications company.

AT&T is the only cell phone company that has service on the subway between the Broad Street and Market-Frankford lines, AT&T spokesman Adam Cormier told the Daily News.

The five-year contract would boost SEPTA’s cash-strapped budget by more than $3 million dollars. The rest would go to SEPTA's ad agency.

The station, on the Broad Street Line, is named after the avenue that provides access to Citizen’s Bank Park, Lincoln Financial Field and the Wachovia Center.
