Pedestrians Play Piano on Philly Streets

Pianos are on display in eight locations in University City and the public is invited to tickle the ivories.

Pedestrians walking through University City can stop and play a tune on pianos that are on display.

Heart & Soul: The University City Public Piano Project runs through June 17. It's an interactive public art exhibition featuring eight artist decorated pianos on sidewalks and in parks and public spaces.

The pianos can be found in the following locations:

  • 30th and Market St.
  • 39th and Walnut St
  • 36th and Walnut St.
  • 33rd and Market St.
  • 40th and Locust Walk
  • 43rd and Baltimore Ave.
  • 37th and Market St.
  • 32nd and Powelton Ave.
