NJ Gas Prices Drop Slightly

NJ Gas Prices Drop

Motorists are seeing slightly lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in the state on Friday was $3.28, down a penny from last week. That's also slightly lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.32.

The national average price was $3.22, down 3 cents from last week. That's also the same price motorists were paying a year ago.

Analysts say the pump prices should stay somewhat stable and may even go lower in the coming weeks, citing limited seasonal demand and resolved production concerns at refineries in the Gulf Coast region.
