Camden County School Closes After Threat

No school Thursday at the Merchantville School

The Merchantville School in Camden County, N.J. will be closed Thursday after receiving a threat.

Merchantville School District officials tell NBC10 that a threat was found in a bathroom in the Centre Street school.

Thursdayโ€™s closure is a precaution, according to officials.

No one was arrested in connection to the threat. Officials didn't reveal the nature of the threat.

Threats like this one are being taken seriously in the wake of last monthโ€™s deadly school shooting at a Connecticut elementary school.
