An Ocean County toddler went to the Saint Barnabas Burn Center after sustaining severe burns while reaching for hot soup.
The Asbury Park Press reported Lacey Township police said the 14-month-old's parents took the boy to an urgent care center.
Paramedics determined the boy needed to go to the burn unit.
His condition was not known.
