State police in Lancaster County say the death of 61-year-old Claudine Murphy of Brecknock Township is being treated as accidental.
Police said a neighbor saw Murphy walking her dog Saturday near her home, wearing a shirt with long sleeves but no hat or coat.
Police said she entered a wooded area near Hawk Valley Golf Course and was found dead at about 5:20 p.m. Sunday by a neighbor who heard a dog barking. Trooper Stephanie Trzaska said Murphy's dog had stayed with the body and was barking.
Police said a medical condition that could have contributed to Murphy's death, but they didn't go into details. Toxicology tests in the case are pending.
