A crash on Interstate 95 in Delaware forced the shutdown of the highway for some time on Friday afternoon.
Authorities shut down I-95 southbound past Maryland Avenue in Wilmington, Del. around 3:50 p.m. Two northbound lanes were also blocked.
Delaware State Police say at least three people have been hurt. They have been taken Christiana Hospital with undetermined injuries.
Crews were able to clear the vehicles from the southbound lanes by 5 p.m. and re-open the roadway completely.
However, the northbound lanes remained blocked as the investigation continued.
All lanes were reopened about an hour later.
