Argument Leads to Gunfire at SEPTA Station

Philadelphia police are searching for a gunman who opened fire Monday night at the SEPTA El station in Kensington.

According to investigators, an altercation began on the street around 7:25 p.m. 

Authorities say that during the fight, one of the men involved tried to flee and ran up the steps to the Somerset Station on Kensington Avenue.

Another person began chasing him. That person fired a shot as the man jumped the turnsyle and boarded the train. The bullet hit the train, according to police. 

No one was injured in the incident.

Police are reviewing surveillance video.
