An eight-and-a-half-year murder investigation finally led to an arrest Thursday evening, when detectives from the Yeadon Police Department arrested Shawn Gallman (pictured) of 2002 Stenton Ave.
Gallman was arrested at the Joseph Coleman Center and charged with the Oct. 2001 murder of Shawn Hughes.
The suspect was arraigned Friday morning and is now being held at the Delaware County Prison without bail. Gallman’s preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Friday, Feb. 19.
