A tow truck driver made a grisly discovery on a West Philadelphia street overnight leading to a homicide investigation.
The passerby found a man suffering from a gunshot wound at 41st and Cambridge streets around 1:15 a.m., said Philadelphia Police. Medics rushed the man to a nearby hospital where he died.
Homicide detectives spent the early hours of Monday scouring the scene for clues. No word yet on any suspects and no word on what led to the shooting.
