Four people, including a young boy, were hurt after an accident involving a police cruiser and two other cars, police say.
It happened Saturday morning at the intersection of G Street and Erie Avenue.
The 24th District police car was racing to a call when a black SUV traveling on G Street ran through a red light. The car hit the cruiser and another vehicle.
A 7-year-old boy in the black SUV was ejected from the car.
Drivers of both cars were taken to the hospital.
All those involved, including the police officer, are in stable condition.
