2 Hospitalized After Wilmington Fire

Occupants rescued from two-story home Saturday morning

One person is in critical condition and another is in stable condition after a house fire in Wilmington Saturday morning.

Firefighters were called to 2811 North Tatnall Street shortly before 3:30 a.m. and found heavy smoke coming from the two-story home.

One of the home's occupants was able to escape to a porch roof, while the other occupant was found in the house by firefighters. Both were taken to Christiana Hospital. Authorities have not released the identities of either person.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
