A 13-year-old boy is being treated at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia after being hit by a car in Norristown.
The teen was struck while riding his bike to school at the intersection of Stanbridge Street and West James Street at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
"He hit the windshield," Trish Celi, a woman in the neighborhood, told NBC10's Tim Furlong. "I held his hand and made sure he was okay." Celi said the teen had a hurt leg and arm. He is expected to be fine.
Witnesses say it appears the boy darted out in front of a car.
