Worker dies after a roof collapsed at a prestigious private high school

One worker is dead and a second is hurt after a roof collapsed while they were doing work at a prestigious private high school in suburban Philadelphia.

The accident happened around 11 a.m. Monday at The Hill School in Pottstown.

Kevin Sensenig, 47, of Denver, Pa., was doing work on the roof of a utility building near the school's power plant when the roof caved in and he fell 50 feet and died at the scene, according to the Montgomery County coroner.

A school spokeswoman says the rescued worker has been taken to the hospital, but his condition is not known. The identity of the second worker has not been released.

The building was not in use while the work was being done.
