One person is dead after a fire in Levittown.
It happened Friday at the Foxwood Manor Apartments on 2180 Veterans Highway.
Firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming from an apartment. When they arrived they found a smoldering couch and a fire inside the kitchen where they also discovered the victim’s body.
No word yet on the identity of the victim or the exact cause of death. The investigation continues.
