Dr. Ing has performed more than 1,000 bariatric surgeries in the 20 years he has been in practice. He completed his residency in general surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and completed a fellowship in advanced minimally invasive surgery at Baptist Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Ing was among the first group of surgeons to complete this fellowship in the country. He is board certified in General Surgery. Dr. Ing is Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the leading national association of Bariatric Surgery.
Michele is a graduate of the Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing, where she also began her nursing career. She continued her education at the University of Saint Francis where she received her Bachelor and Master degrees. Most of her career has been focused within the surgery forum. She then began working in Bariatrics in 2009, received her Certification in Bariatric Nursing in 2012 and continues to practice as the Manager of the Bariatric Center.
