The Feds raided a local defense contractor on Wednesday, but neither side was giving up enough information to answer the key question: Why?
Special Agent-in-Charge Ed Bradley confirmed the search is part of an ongoing investigation but wouldn't give up any other details. He says agents will remain on site "as long as it takes."
Just recently, Siemens was awarded a Defense Department contract worth up to $267 million to sell medical imaging equipment to the military.
Lance Longwell, a spokesman for Siemens Medical Solutions said the company's U.S. operations had been served a search warrant "and will continue to cooperate fully with the Government's investigation."
