A federal bankruptcy court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Philadelphia-based Luminent Mortgage Capital Inc. against Merrill Lynch, claiming that the brokerage firm misrepresented the risks of mortgage-backed securities, Bloomberg News reported today.
