WMGM-TV, an NBC affiliate that broadcasts as Channel 40 from Atlantic City, says it will quit broadcasting its analog signal next Tuesday and switch to digital-only service - one of about 500 stations across the country that have chosen to heed the original deadline set by federal regulators for the so-called "digital transition."
