Police Arrest Man for Stealing Cash And SPCA Truck

Police have arrested a man for robbery and the theft of an SPCA truck.

Dennis Fulton, 33, was arrested at 2 p.m. on the 6500 block of Lindburgh Boulevard on Monday.

On Monday, Dec. 13, Fulton allegedly entered the SPCA Animal Care and Control Center on Hunting Park Avenue around 4 a.m. to turn over an injured dog.

While inside, police say that Fulton pointed a knife at an employee and demanded money.

He then stole $1700 and fled the scene in an SPCA truck, according to authorities.

The stolen vehicle was found abandoned on the Disston and Hagerman Streets in the Tacony Section of Northeast Philadelphia that same night around 6:00 p.m

Fulton’s hearing date is Dec. 27th at the Criminal Justice Center.

He is charged with robbery, burglary, criminal trespass and other related charges.
