Ryan got his Birds out to an early lead by finding "Rowdy" Roddy White for a TD. White would have a quiet night catching just three balls for 23 yards...

But Rowdy did have this amazing entrance.

Talking about wild entrances, actor Samuel L. Jackson took time away from his seven yet-to-be-released movies to fire up the home crowd.

Vick didn't need extra firing up Sunday. He was a bit jittery in the first half and really got going in the second. On the day he ran for 25 yards and passed for 242 yards and two scores (good for a 103.6 rating).

But Vick -- who only once in his career has played all 16 games -- suffered a concussion late in the third quarter and wouldn't return.

Shady McCoy also did his thing rushing for 95 yards and two TDs. He also added 21 yards on four catches.

McCoy's counterpart Michael Turner was just as good. The big running back rushed for 114 yards and a score on 21 carries and added a 32-yard reception.

The Falcons other big offensive weapon was Tony Gonzalez. The veteran tight end caught seven balls for 83 yards and two scores.

Ryan needed the big performances from Turner and Gonzalez. The Falcons QB was hit numerous times and sacked four times. But the pain from the beating probably didn't hurt as much since his Falcons won 35-31.

Vick will now have to pass a series of concussion tests before next week if he hopes to lead the Eagles against the Giants. In his career Vick is 5-1 as a starter against the G-Men.
