This Eagles fan says it all as the Eagles fell to 3-5 at the halfway point of the season after a 30-24 loss to the Bears at Lincoln Financial Field.

Why were Eagles fans so upset? Because yet another team came into the Linc and beat the Birds. This time Jay Cutler and the Bears fried the Birds defense.

Of course Eagles QB Michael Vick helped out by failing to come up with the big play especially in the fourth quarter when the Birds managed only four first downs and no points despite the game being on the line.

Vick was rather pedestrian all game completing 21 of 38 (55 percent) passes for 213 yards and an interception -- good for just a 60.5 passer rating. He also rushed for 34 yards on five carries.

Vick's favorite target was TE Brent Celek who caught a team-high seven balls for 60 yards.

One guy who wasn't very involved was WR DeSean Jackson. He did make this impressive-looking grab but it was one of only two catches he had for just 16 yards. He also added a 10-yard run and a terrible fumble on a punt return that set up a Chicago score late in the second quarter.

Little-used RB Ronnie Brown got his first TD as an Eagle. The 4-yard scamper was his only run of the night.

The majority of the workload once again was on LeSean McCoy. Shady responded with 117 total yards (71 rushing) and a touchdown.

Shady scored on a 33-yard run. He became only the second Eagle ever to score in eight straight games. Hall of Famer Steve Van Buren pulled off the feat in 1947.

Shady's counterpart Matt Forte totaled 150 yards (133 on the ground) as the Bears controlled the clock using the ground game.

Forte did fumble twice though. The first was returned 22 yards by rookie LB Brian Rolle as DB Nnamdi Asomugha showed the way.

Rolle was the first Eagles defensive rookie to score since Kevin Johnson in 1995.

The zebras would be busy as they tagged both the Eagles and Bears for six penalties a piece.

Eagles coach Andy Reid sure wasn't happy with the refs after a controversial roughing the passer call on Jason Babin on a would be third-down stop inside the red zone late in the first half. Replays appeared to show Babin being pushed into Cutler.

On the next play Marion Barber scampered in for a 2-yard TD. The Bears "big back" ran nine times for 31 yards.

Cutler completed 18-of-32 (56 percent) passes for 208 yards and two TDs.

He connected with nine different receivers while posting a 96.9 passer rating.

Tight end Matt Spaeth (middle) had only two grabs for 13 yards but one of those grabs was a 5-yard TD pass from Cutler.

But Cutler's old college teammate Earl Bennett was top dog catching five balls for 95 yards and a score.

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie shows how to not tackle Bennett -- it's not flag football. DRC managed just two tackles all game.

PSU alum Robbie Gould was 3-for-3 including a 51-yarder.

Vick just never seemed comfortable as he and the Birds fell short.
