The Stories Behind Philly Shops' Names

We contacted a handful of our favorite Philadelphia boutiques to learn the stories behind the names of their popular storefronts.

Our finding: Philly shop-keeps tend toward the sentimental, drawing influence from fond memories and familial heritage. For instance, the names of Arcadia and Nice Things Handmade are a family affair, while the store owners of Hello World and Bus Stop took a cue from the names of their favorite hometown haunts.
