What I like about this look?
This look is simple but complete. A white tank tucked into an A-line skirt with a thick belt, is really all it takes to look completely put together. By tucking in the tank, she not only flatters her shape, but she also makes the tank look chic. The wine color of this skirt provides an older feel to the overall look, as does the cut (apparently she purchased it at a secondhand store, so this makes sense). A high waisted A-line skirt, like this, can do wonders for those of us who are pear shaped. It hits the smallest part of your waist and then fans outwards to easily clear, and camouflage, your hips. Adding a thick belt around the waistband of the skirt helps to cover the portion of the outfit where the top meets the skirt, creating a cleaner look and providing a bit more depth. For a splash of color, she has a bright blue jacket over her arm.
