Strong Storms Move Through the Area

Following the storms, drier, and much cooler air, will move in.

Showers and a few thunderstorms just moved through the Philadelphia-area, and boy did they move fast.

The storms came well ahead of the cold front and because they were so fast moving, flooding is not expected.

The front will completely pass through the area by the end of rush hour, but with the rain we just had, there’s not enough time for sun to heat us up giving us more strong storm -- just an isolated shower or storm could develop.

After 5 p.m. it’ll still be breezy, but much cooler with drier air.

This weekend will be a chilly one.
