Philadelphia police are investigating four possible murders after a violent 24 hours starting Saturday night.
Cases under investigation Sunday included a 35-year-old man shot to death outside a north Philadelphia party and a 57-year-old woman found dead in a west Philadelphia apartment, her face covered in blood.
Police found a 50- to 60-year-old man dead on a west Philadelphia street with a possible gunshot wound to the neck. On Sunday, police say a man in his 20s died after being shot five times in north Philadelphia.
Police hadn't released the identities of victims, or reported arrests in the cases.
Separately, police say a man is hospitalized after an officer shot him in the neck during a struggle that followed a traffic stop and a foot chase in the Germantown section.
