Get your gold chains and black clothes ready. Bodyrock Bootcamp and Executive Training (3858 Lancaster Ave.) will celebrate its second anniversary with a masquerade ball Saturday, Nov. 22.
Yeah, we’re still fresh off the heels of Halloween, but don’t worry—this isn’t just any masquerade ball. Instead of feathers and masks, attendees to this event are invited to dress-to-impress in their best 90s-inspired ‘gangsta rap’ or ‘heavy metal’ outfits. Saturday’s official theme is “Gold Chains and Black Tees.”
Bodyrock is known for its outdoor boot camp training sessions, and dance and aerobic classes. But on Saturday, DJ Smooth-Z and DJ Chowtime will spin and heavy metal band Black Sweat will rock ‘til early morning.
The night kicks off at 9 p.m., and alcohol will be served. To attend, RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Admission is $5 if you’re in costume, $10 if you’re not.
