July Could Be the Hottest Ever in Philly

We are on track for this July to be the hottest July ever recorded in Philadelphia, according to NBC10 Chief Meterologist Glenn "Hurricane" Schwartz.

And an Excessive Heat Watch has been issued for Friday afternoon through Saturday evening.

new TWTR.Widget({ version: 2, type: 'profile', rpp: 4, interval: 6000, width: 250, height: 300, theme: { shell: { background: '#2f09ad', color: '#ffffff' }, tweets: { background: '#d6d2d6', color: '#0a0a0a', links: '#1707eb' } }, features: { scrollbar: false, loop: false, live: false, hashtags: true, timestamp: true, avatars: true, behavior: 'all' } }).render().setUser('HurricaneNBC10').start();

We will not see any storms pop up this afternoon or evening, but that scenario is possible on Thursday, especially at night.

Temperatures on Thursday will go back into the 90s and the humidity will be up a bit as well.

Both the heat and humidity increase even more on Friday, when the Heat Index should reach 100 degrees.
