Hungry, The Musical Attacks!

Groove With It: The always-frisky SNACKS party lights up the anything-goes Ruby lounge of Voyeur this evening with special guests all the way from LA, The Cosmic Kids, whose oft-spun, soft-disco single Reginald's Groove has been spinning at electro parties all over town. As always, get $1 PBR, $2 Sparks and free hot dogs or veggie dogs all night long. $10; 10 p.m.-3:30 a.m.

Get the Munchies: The puppeteering, engineering, robot-obsessed, theatrical sci-fi dude, Sean Glass brings his latest creation 'Hungry, The Musical' to the First Unitarian Church this evening. The story follows our heroine, the alcoholic Marsha and her harem of characters as they attempt to save the earth from hoardes of flesh-eating alien plants. $15-$20; 8 p.m.

Country-Fried Brews: Ever wish happy hour could start earlier and include specials on beers you really want to drink? Enter JG Domestic; the country-tinged Garces restaurant offers $5 Six-Point Pilsners, Victory Strom King Stouts and Allagash White, $6 glasses of wine and $7 specialty cocktails starting before most get out of work. 3 p.m.-7 p.m.

Going out can be a gamble, so why leave it up to chance? Stack the deck every afternoon by peeping Play's Dance Card.
