Tomorrow, March 17, MidAtlantic hosts an alternative to green beer and crock pots of corned beef for those of us over the age of 22. Chef Matthew Ridgway of PorcSalt, a Bucks County charcuterie, will join chef Daniel Stern in preparing three courses of pastured pork from Breakaway Farms of Mount Joy, PA, and Eden Farms, a coalition of independent family farmers in State Center, Iowa. Guests will vote on whose heritage hogs are highlighted best in each of the three preparations. Stoudt's will also be on hand to debut a custom-brewed Summer Pickle IPA and live bluegrass by the Lewis Brothers will be twanging.
