The Independence Seaport Museum is giving children the chance to sleep over -- and parents the chance to get rid of their kids for the night.
Seaport Slumbers is a great way to experience the high seas and a little bit of history.
Children will participate in an interactive theater performance, a treasure hunt, after dark story telling tours, breakfast in the morning and much more.
On Saturday, March 20 and 27, grab your favorite sleeping bag and find out what goes on behind closed doors at the Museum and experience life as a sailor.
Check-in for the sleepover begins at 6 p.m.. The fee is $45. The overnight ends at 10 a.m.
Seaport Slumbers is most appropriate for children ages 5 to 12.
Space is limited so call 215-413-8630 for reservations today.
