Celebrity DJ and ex-Lindsay Lohan flame Samantha Ronson is facing a criminal investigation, a day after her bulldog Cadillac reportedly mauled to death a neighbor’s puppy.
"The incident is still an allegation until such a time that a witness provides evidence to support the allegation," Michelle Roache, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care & Control told People mag.
According to TMZ, the attack occurred Monday morning when Ronson’s pooch was let out of her West Hollywood apartment while the DJ was sleeping.
The victim was a 3-pound Maltese named Tiger who was roaming the hallway without a leash, the gossip site reported.
Following the alleged attack Ronson tweeted her condolences.
“There is absolutely nothing I can say that will alter one minute of today, nothing,” she wrote. “I feel incredibly sad and wish I could offer more than condolences, unfortunately there are no words to describe how sorry I am.”
