It's Cyber Monday

In case you slept in Friday morning and missed all the shopping fun, don't worry, there's still Cyber Monday -- a day to shop in the comfort of your own home, in the comfort of your pj's and still score awesome deals.

On the Monday after Thanksgiving, online retailers offer deep discounts and promotions for the lazy (or smart depending how you look at it) consumer. And of course, there's tons of Web sites to make Cyber Monday even easier.

Check out CyberMonday.com and sneak a peak at the discount percentage of each retailer so you can see which sites are worth visiting.  Dealnews.com offers you a preview of prices on everything from elliptical machines to comforters.

Cyber-Monday.orgCouponAlbum.com and AllDiscountCouponCodes.com are hooking you up with ads, codes, coupons and promotional deals.

Plus, some of those Black Friday Web sites will continue to advertise Cyber Monday deals, as well.  So, just take a little time to click around and you’re bound to find mega savings.

Word to the wise -- when using coupon codes to shop, it’s good to do your homework by researching the codes and seeing what deals are offered before you chart your shopping course. Try jotting down the codes from RetailMeNot.com and use them when you purchase online. Plus, if you know a coupon code that isn’t listed, you can share with other users.

And remember, when shopping online always be cautious and check out these tips to shopping safely on the web:

  • Make sure the website is legitimate.
  • Always guard your online password.
  • Don't provide a store your social security number.
  • Pay by credit or charge card.
  • Print and save records of your purchases.
