Last month Cliff Lee chose the Phillies and this week he and his wife Kristen chose a home.
Cliff and crew will be adding more celebrity to one of the most luxurious areas in Philadelphia.
The Lees will be moving into the Rittenhouse Square area condo, according to a source.
“I never wanted to leave this place in the first place,” Lee said when he was reintroduced by the Phils.
Well, he won’t be moving far from that place he lived in his first stint with the Phillies during the 2009 season. Back then the Lees stayed at the luxury AKA Rittenhouse Square, our source said.
But due to privacy concerns, the source couldn’t reveal the exact location the Lees will call home this time around except to say that it’s in the same general vicinity of AKA.
CenterCityRealEstate.com got a bit more specific. They reported that Lee and his family would be moving into 1706 Rittenhouse, which opened just this past May.
Here are some of the buildings amenities, according to CCRE:
The gem of Rittenhouse Square with 29 full floor units; virtually column free space, floor to ceiling windows open to expansive views, 10 to 20 ft. ceilings, two terraces for each unit and the top of the line finishes make this the most desirable address in Philadelphia. Each unit has over 4100 square feet of customizable space. Common amenities include state of the art fitness center with sauna, massage rooms, endless pool, private boardroom and garden… Included in each unit price is an on-site parking space in the fully automated, state of the art, underground garage.
And even though everyone is Philly is incredible excited that Lee inked a five-year, $120-million deal with the Phightins we should still respect Cliff and his family’s privacy, a point made by the700Level.com.
“Now remember, fans, if you see Cliff and his family out eating at one of the local restaurants, let them enjoy their rib eye, will you?”
