Tired of cooking, but not wanting to spend a lot?

Pick up a $5 meal at McGillin’s Olde Ale House in a perfectly-sized portion for all you weight watchers: a 5-oz Sirloin Steak, potato & vegetable, plus 99¢ buys a side salad. And for those pretend not to care about calories, there are also $5 Pitchers of PBR (all day) & Coors Light (11:30 a.m.-5 p.m.).

Over at The Institute, they've got date-night specials of 40 percent off entrees ordered between 8 p.m. and midnight.

Need to go lower?

Table 31 is offering a $9 bar menu, $7 martinis, $5 wines, $3 draft and bottled beer in the bar & lounge, Monday through Saturday.

And Tattooed Mom’s has half-price sandwiches on Saturdays.

Then, when you roll out of bed on Sunday, Fork will be waiting with plenty of tasty options, including three-egg omelets from $8.50 to $13, brioche French toast for $9.50, or a rich, butternut squash risotto topped with sweet gorgonzola cheese for $13.

With your choice of bottomless coffee, cafe latte, fresh pressed juice or mimosa from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., what are waiting for?

Thanks to Foobooz and uwishunu for the tips.
