Actress and stand-up comedian Mo’nique is coming all the way to North Philadelphia for her “Spread the Love Tour.”
Mo'nique recently won an Academy Award for her role in "Precious," but Friday night she's turning the tables from serious actress to one of the funniest woman in America.
Joining the Oscar winner is comedian and “BET Late Night” co-host, Rodney Perry, Tone-X – he’ll be perusing the streets of the city, stalking Philadelphians – and DJ Ant.
Tickets for “Spread the Love” at Temple’s Liacouras Center on May 21 are $39.50 or $65, but if you’re a Temple student, alum or employee, you can see Mo’nique and friends for 15 bucks.
Parking is $12.
Showtime is 8 p.m.
