If you’re a big fan of fall, then you’ll be in heaven at Linvilla Orchards in Media, Pa.
The 300-acre farm has so much to do, see and buy, you’ll have to visit more than once.
Get your pie on at the Farm Market. Linvilla grows all of its own fruits and veggies, bakes its own bread, pastries, pizza, hors d’oeuvres, cakes, cookies, doughnuts and, of course, pies. They’ve got over 40 different pies to please everyone’s palate. Plus, if you’re into baking homemade pies, you can grab any filling you desire at the Market.
Fresh milk and eggs, fresh apple cider and ice cream, honey, fudge and much more is also available.
Or weed through Linvilla's collection of annuals and perennials, full hanging baskets, mums and fruit trees to enhance your curb appeal or add a ittle life to your home.
But buying a ton of goodies isn’t the only fun to be at Linvilla. During September and October, Pumpkinland takes over the farm – think larger than life scarecrows and pumpkins, a cornfield maze and a haunted hayride to keep your heart rate up.
And with a flurry of special events like National Pie Day, flea markets, storytelling and cut-your-own Christmas tree, there’s always something happenin’ at the Orchards.
