4/22: Comedy, Classic Beers and a Good Cause

Paul Mecurio: Paul Mecurio, lawyer turned comedian, is in town tonight through Saturday at Helium. You may remember him from The Daily Show, his Comedy Central Presents special or his dozen appearances on late night TV. Be sure to check out his HBO sports comedy series Got No Game with Paul Mecurio. Tickets are only $15 so bring your friends out for a night full of laughs. Rock Bottom Remainders: Rock group, the Rock Bottom Remainders hit the stage tonight at the Electric Factory. The group is comprised of nine authors touring the country for a good cause. The have raised close to $2 million for charity through their concerts each year. Their 2010 Wordstock Tour is supported by the Pearson Foundation with all proceeds from the show supporting World Vision, a Haitian relief organization, and the Free Library of Philadelphia.
