It’s been quite the week here at Hidden Tracks. Better Than Ezra joined us at MilkBoy Recording to talk about their career in music and how they’ve survived for over two decades. They also talked about their influences in music and performed two songs from their newest release, “Paper Empire”.

It was a lot of fun having them join us in the studio. The guys were relaxed and joking throughout the entire shoot. From new drummer, Michael Jerome, tapping out great beats on a contraption that can only be out of vaudeville to Kevin’s impromptu Hall and Oates imitation to Tom’s indented forefinger, it was one fun shoot. Take a look at the video.

And if you like the taste of what we’ve supplied you here, tune in July 4 after “Saturday Night Live” and LX TV for the series premier of “Hidden Tracks” on NBC 10. You’ll get more from BTE, as well as Kingsfoil and Jim Boggia.

Follow us on Twitter, too. We’ll keep you updated on who’s coming into the studio and which shows we’re headed out to see.
